Our Commitment to Sustainability
Partnering with you for a Greener Future
At Adelaide and Statewide Tallow, we take pride in ensuring that your waste oil is recycled responsibly and contributes to a sustainable future. To do this, we operate under the ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification)—a global standard that proves your oil is being turned into high-quality, sustainable biofuel.
How this works for our partners
To keep our certification valid, we need to ensure all the oil we collect meets the ISCC “Self-Declaration” standards. To make this as easy as possible for you, we operate a Deemed Acceptance model. This means you don’t have to sign a new contract every time we visit; by continuing to use our collection services, you are simply confirming that:
- It’s Genuine UCO: The material is Used Cooking Oil (vegetable or animal origin) used for cooking food.
- It’s a True Waste: The oil is a residue from your kitchen and hasn’t been modified or mixed with anything else.
- ISCC Verification-Ready: In rare cases, a certification body might reach out to verify that we are indeed collecting oil from your site.
The “Fine Print” Made Simple
We value our partnership and want to be transparent. These sustainability terms are a mandatory part of our service.
A Note on Acceptance: We assume these terms are acceptable to you as part of our ongoing service. However, if you have any questions or do not wish to be part of the ISCC sustainability program, please let us know in writing within 14 days of your collection or receipt. We are always happy to chat through any concerns!
